Tomorrow, is the second anniversary for my blog Nutrizonia . A blog anniversary means a lot to me. First it is a reminder of what I achieved the last year, but most importantly, because it’s the time to think and set goals for the short, and long terms. And nothing describe what I feel now better than this picture, I’m a flower floating on the water, peacefully!
If I said last year that I learned new things really it is nothing comparing to this year. I can’t believe how much I grow learning things behind the scene of a blog post. It’s not just writing content on a blank page, but it needs many skills on technical level, also a minimum knowledge of photography skills such as photo editing, and how to shoot in the day light and the understanding of how images can improve your content. Also how to brainstorm ideas for new blog posts, and how to sell your blog, and a lot more. Also I had the confidence to set my insight , to know what I want this blog to be, and what do I want from it. Moreover, what is my niche, and whether it should be a personal or professional one.
I have learned through the last year that being genuine, and passionate about what you write is much important than writing for the search engines solely. But it’s frustrating when you write with passion, but no one can reach your blog. That’s why it is necessary to arm yourself with the basic knowledge of reaching out people online, and offline. And meeting people in the field offline, is important as much as communicating with them online. For this matter I encourage you to go to meetup where you can find people who share with you many interests.
I would like to take this opportunity to say ” Thanks” to Shuva Rahim a talented photographer, she helped to set my own vision for Nutrizonia. Also to Andrea Flemming that she introduced me to many people in the field of technology which I need to improve my blog. My brother as always, he helped me a lot with technical stuff, and he is a blogger too! Also my family, my mom and my sister, they always encourage me to continue what I started. And I can’t forget my husband that he supports me in many ways, like letting me use his professional camera! And to a better person, and to achieve what I’m looking at in the future as a blogger.
I promised last year to post regularly, but it was very difficult to stay on schedule with a new born baby, now after he is older than one year, time management becomes easier, and more likely to happen. And if you follow my blog you know that starting from 2014 I’m posting regularly!
Finally, tomorrow I would like to share with you what was a big motive to me to be healthy, seeking better options and to stay on track. Therefore, I’ll post my story with nutrition so stay tuned!
I would love to know what you want to read, so please if you have any questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate, and contact me on nutrizonia@gmail.com
