Hello again,
I’ve wrote a post about my trip to Dubai part 1 , and welcome to part 2 of Dubai trip! Let’s start
Slider Station
This restaurant has unique choices for the burger and other sandwiches. With a great atmosphere and very good services too. I was disappointed that I couldn’t take better photos of the working area and the whole area. It was very sunny, and it was a full house, and I was short on time too 🙁
And the best thing was, the burgers are flavorsome- actually scrumptious-yet light! We ordered:
- A wagyu truffle cheese steak, The truffle aioli was very delicious, a bit salty and has a rich taste. And actually, the spiciness of Jalapeno made the truffle flavor pop up! The bun was a green one, a light one that looked very appetizing.
- A mint lemonade with orange blossom water, which was out of this world, truly! A small addition to a classic mint lemonade with an eastern flavor, this is fusion at it’s best!
- Cola coffee brisket , which had a distinctive green apple slaw, and very juicy flavorful meat.
Tom & Serge
An urban cafe in industrial area in Dubai , called Al-Qouz . It’s an Australian cafe that offers delicious unique dishes using fresh and mostly organic items. Some of them are tailored to suit foodie allergies And diet restrictions.
What I really liked about this place, is the great services, the atmosphere ,and positive vibes. Everyone was smiling and welcoming. The workers were doing their job in peace & harmony. And the high ceiling style, made the place less noisy, and very bright.
I truly regretted skipping desserts. They looked super good and fresh too. And of course very appetizing and inviting!
We had :
Classic burgers, the flavor wasn’t unique, but it tastes very fresh and light.
Wagyu beef shoulders with hollandaise sauce and smoked onion relish. The meat was very juicy and with creamy hollanidse and sweetness of onion relish, was a fabulous combo.
I can’t wait to visit it again!
We went to many touristic places, but they need a post on each . You can check them out thru links , Louvre, sheikh zayed mosque, Dubai legoland , kidszania, LA MER JBR (Jumeria beach Residence)
The Hamptons:
It’s a boutique cafe style, inspired by Hampton area in NY. I loved the place, it’s perfect for a cup of coffee or a high tea or for lunch. I just had coffee and cakes, but they were so good and yummy, especially the lavender macron. It was light, airy , slightly sweet and so yummy.
The coffee was right on the spot. like there was nothing wrong at all, great atmosphere, good service and scrumptious cakes, i highly recommend it.
And that is it for now, well meet again with new restaurants and cafes in Dubai or another city!
