Today’s post is the last one in Nutritionist confessions series!
I was afraid if I close this series, readers will think I’m out of ideas, or I’m having a blogger burnout, or something from that nature. That’s not true! the thing is, that most things that matters to me, are fitted into these posts. like emotional eating, fitness, superfood, and food trends and blogging.
I feel I’m being too focused on myself, and not helping you my readers, as I intended to do when I created this blog. I’m reading day, and night about blog growth, and how to engage with your readers. Lots of bloggers advice to stay away from personal posts, or posts that does not offer tips, advice that readers can benefit from them. While, I do agree with this, but I always believe that blogging should reflect a personality. It may not be the best strategy when it comes to blogging for business, or monetize your blog. But this is how I want my blog to be.
I felt so good, and relieved when the series was up on the blog. I had lots of things on my mind, and I was tired of carrying them on my shoulders all the time. Some are too personal, and some I’m sure many of you my readers can relate to them too.
But Again, it made me think ,is this series for myself, or for you my readers?
My goal in this series was to prove that perfection isn’t easy, and it’s not the dream.[Tweet ” Being perfect isn’t easy even for professionals! It needs hard work, and patience”] And when it does it not happen, it means that passion is somewhere else.
That was my intention of this series, to encourage myself, and you my readers to reach our goals of being healthy, fit, and happy.
But we all need to work on these areas (fitness, and healthy eating). Because with abundance of food, and the minimum need to move is becoming less, We are more than ever prone to chronic diseases, and chronic stress.
Last Wednesday, I was engaging with a twitter chat hosting by the the creative kercia. It was about the goals for all creatives, and some other interesting questions! When I wrote down my goal, and little introduction for myself in less than 140 characters, I knew what I wanted to do!
Here is my tweet: I’m Farida! a blogger! My short term goal, is make my blog a trusted resource for healthy recipes & nutrition education #nourishedartist
(Yes, there are some grammar mistakes!)
Now, I did update my categories, and now after 115 posts, and recipes. I covered lots of areas in nutrition related subjects. I want to write more posts, and healthy recipes, even it’s getting harder, since I have two picky eaters, and having the all the food to myself!
I’m continuing to work towards this goal. With new series, more posts geared with the aim of raising the awareness of nutrition, and well being. Thank you for reading, and sharing my posts in this series.
However, if I ever have something to share that fits here, I will update the category, and let you know!
Thank you all again for your support!
